Club Penguin Journey hosts a variety of custom items that did not appear in the original Club Penguin. Some of these items are even kept hidden as easter eggs. In this guide, I will show you how to obtain two of these hidden items: The Gold Bunny Slippers and The Goldstache.
The Gold Bunny Slippers
To obtain the Gold Bunny Slippers, you will first want to make your way to the Boiler Room. The easiest way to get there is via the secret entrance in the Nightclub.
When you get the Boiler Room, you will see a filing cabinet with 6 drawers. To unlock the Gold Bunny Slippers, throw snowballs at the handles of these drawers in the following order:
- The bottom-left drawer
- The middle-right drawer
- The top-right drawer
You'll notice each of the handles will appear to shift downward a tad bit. Once all three handles are down, you'll be able to open the bottom-right drawer by clicking on it.
Once it's open, you can click on the drawer to receive your Gold Bunny Slippers! Congratulations!
The Goldstache
Obtaining the Goldstache is a little bit simpler, but requires a bit of patience. To unlock the Goldstache for yourself, make you way to the Cove and click on the binoculars hanging from the lifeguard's chair.
Now, you'll have to sit and wait, but remain vigilant. After a minute or two, you will see a yellow fish jump out of the water. When you see it, click on it.
You'll want to be quick, as it only appears for a few seconds. Luckily, you shouldn't have to click on it directly, just somewhere near it. Once you do that, you'll receive your Goldstache! Congratulations!
"But Cagle, what about the Gold Viking Helmet?"
Yes, yes. The Solid Gold Viking Helmet is also one of those hidden custom items, and its golden nature makes it feel as though it belongs in this guide. However, obtaining the Solid Gold Viking Helmet requires access to the Switchbox 3000 in the Stage which is currently unavailable.
