Hi Aliens,

As you might have seen earlier in the week : Potatoez is our newest Alien Of The Week!

Its the second time she manages to get this role, and she definitely deserves it!

Potatoez joined us on May 26th, and while the months passed, she got a lot of ranks, until the highest one for troops : Keplerian Sovereign. She is a part of our Art Department, our latest Artist Of The Week, a Mascot Tracker, and way more that i cannot even list!

Her presence is always making a lot of people happy, and I find myself mostly laughing when Potatoez is around. We also deeply appreciate her help, always trying to guide people and helping a lot to recruit, which led to her becoming a Mission Captain recently!!

We got the chance to interview our favourite potato to ask a few questions, i'll let you with her answers!

Q1) How does it feel to be Alien of the Week twice?

I feel very loved by the aliens community, and honored they would make me aotw twice. I love to see other aliens recognized for their contributions, and receiving it myself is heartwarming.

Q2) How has your journey in Aliens been so far? What changed after you first joined?

When I first joined aliens, I was only prepared to lurk. I had recently taken a brief break from CPJ for personal reasons, but was happy to see a familiar face when Malac invited me to join the aliens discord after a fun event on CPJ. Little did I know I would be yapping away months later, hosting stamp missions and making art too. Since I joined, we gained and lost a leader. I’ve gotten close with many aliens and even abducted some of my CPJ friends. The kindness that aliens have given never wavered, and I know that their hearts in the right place.

Q3) What advice would you give to new members who just joined Aliens? How can they make new friends and feel comfortable in the server?

If you’re new, introduce yourself and don’t be afraid to join the fun. We don’t bite (except Riley when eating raw potatoes). Whether you prefer to lurk, yap, or just play games, it’s always great to have new aliens around. We’re only mean to hockropper, so as long as you arent him, you’ll be safe here!

Q4) What would you like to say to members who are aiming to become Alien of the Week?

KEEP GOING! Really though - be yourself and just have fun. There’s no secret formula (that I know of).

Q5) Is there anything else you would like to share with the Aliens through this interview?

Thank you aliens for sticking to your values and showing so much love. I know when I invite friends or new penguins, I will never regret it because you welcome them with a good time. BP, Ams, the staff, and all troops are amazing <3
